How long do I need to wear my retainers?
It depends on the case and your orthodontist’s recommendation. Initially, you might have to wear your retainers full-time. However, it may be shifted to nighttime wear only after several months.

Can I eat or drink with my retainers on?
Eating or drinking anything except for water with retainers on is not advised. You can simply remove your retainers and continue your meals.

How to clean my retainers?
Simply rinse them with lukewarm water or use a soft-bristled brush for proper cleaning. For deep cleaning, you can also use a retainer cleaner.

How long do Essix retainers last?
With proper care, Essix retainers typically last 6–12 months, but this can vary depending on wear habits and how well they are maintained.

What happens if I stop wearing my retainers?
Your teeth can gradually shift back toward their original position, which may undo the results of your orthodontic treatment.
